Work · ModulePlanned (Phase 8)
Network
Outside GPUs run Audit and agent jobs. Work counts only on paid job ids; wrong results are penalised. Not for sale: it is the workforce.
The problem it prevents
A proof-of-useful-work network that does little useful work. Only work a customer paid for can earn.
Who it is for
Node operators with GPUs. Not sold to customers.
How it works
- 01Register a GPU node and meet the conforming-node requirements.
- 02Take Audit and agent jobs; each share commits to a paid job id.
- 03Results are spot-checked; wrong results are slashed.
- 04Rewards accrue; their form is not decided.
What you get
- Work on paid jobs; accepted and rejected results; penalties.
- Public stats: nodes and jobs.
Limits and caveats
- Phase 8.
- Reward form not decided; no token mechanics are built here.
Questions
Can I mine on random work?
No. Shares on unpaid or random work earn nothing. That is the "done when".
Hardware?
Conforming-node requirements follow the Phase 4 determinism finding.
When?
After Payments, the deterministic node, Gate and Leash.
Is there a token?
ByteGuard builds no token mechanics.
